From Tier: "So the three of us are renting this two bedroom in Lubbock. Cut and I share a bedroom and Bummer has a room to himself. One day Cut starts sneezing. The sneezing continues and gradually get worse and worse day by day, week by week. Cut cannot figure out what is wrong. I think he mentioned that the only thing he was allergic to was cats and/or dogs and that is why he could not own a pet. One day Bummer says to me “I got to tell you something”. I said “What’s that?”. Bob said “It’s a secret”. I said “Okay”. He said “I got a cat in my bedroom”. I said “You got a what?”. “I have a cat in my bedroom”. What are you going to do with a cat in the bedroom”? “Actually, it is a kitten”. I said, "What are you going to do with a kitten in the bedroom?" “I found it”. “Where is it?” “Follow me”. So I go into his bedroom and Bob opens his closet and there is this cute kitten along with a litter box, food bowel, water bowel, bed, toys. “OMG, you got to tell Cut”. “I’ll have to get rid of it then.” “I don't know about that, but you've got to tell Cut! He's going nuts over this sneezing. Bob broke the news to Cut. I don’t recall what happened next. Perhaps Cut can shed some light.

From Cut: "It was me or the cat. The cat lost. (I am seriously allergic to cats.) Love dogs and have had many. Our dog now is Toby. A six pound Maltese who is about 12 years old."

From Tier: "Now that I think about it I probably could have practiced a bit more “social distancing” from the cat to avoid being a carrier of cat hair into Cut’s bedroom. I have a feeling while Cut was at work that the cat had the run of the house as Bummer and “the cat” would play all day long." Regards.
